KIG Tech specializes in the factory-based production of cathodic protection materials and turnkey cathodic protection solutions. Our MMO tubular anodes are available in pre-packaged (canned) configurations, combining high-performance anode technology with simplified installation. These systems are optimized for the protection of pipelines and storage tanks worldwide.

Product Description & Specifications
Structure: Constructed from high-grade seamless titanium tubes
conforming to ASTM B338 (Grade 1 or 2), coated with Mixed Metal Oxide (MMO).
The coating varies by application—Ir/Ta for soil and freshwater
environments, or Ir/Ru for brackish and seawater exposure.
Low Consumption Rate: MMO/Ti anodes offer extremely low wear—measured in
milligrams per amp-year—retaining dimensional stability throughout their 20–25
year service life.
Current Capacity: Designed by diameter and length to deliver high
current output—ranging from 6 to 70 A per anode in seawater, depending
on configuration.
Canned Packaging: Each tubular anode is encased in a galvanized
steel canister, filled with petroleum coke backfill to enhance
current distribution and provide mechanical protection.
Typical Sizes: Custom lead wires available (e.g., PVDF/HMWPE,XLPE/PVC).

How Our Cathodic Protection System Works
In a complete ICCP configuration, MMO tubular anodes
are installed in backfilled canisters at designated groundbed locations.
NACE-certified engineers design the anode layout—spacing, quantity, and cable
routing—based on pipeline coating conditions and soil resistivity.
The system connects to a transformer rectifier (TR)
equipped with remote monitoring and RS-485 communication, supplying a
stable DC current to maintain protective polarization.
This integrated solution delivers accurate,
reliable corrosion control, ensuring long-term protection over the full
service life of the asset.
