The KIG alkaline electrolytic cell for tap water is engineered to change the pH of water through electrolysis. The KIG alkaline electrolytic cell consists of a tank, an anode, and a cathode, with a diaphragm separating the anode chamber from the cathode chamber. The anode is made of MMO-coated titanium plates, and the cathode is made of titanium plates. The electrolytic cell works by altering the pH of the water through electrolysis. For tap water, the electrolytic cell is available in configurations with 3, 5, 7, or 11 plates. Additionally, there are electrolytic cells designed for RO water, with options for PT coatings.
