1. Product Introduction
The H2 electrolyze consists of electrode assemblies, membrane electrodes, sealing components, etc., with the membrane electrode being the core component. The KIG PEM electrolyze membrane electrode utilizes DuPont Nafion N-117 proton exchange membrane electrode, ensuring the electrolyze produces safe, stable, and high-purity hydrogen and oxygen gases.
2. Application Range
This product is suitable for pure water electrolysis hydrogen-oxygen separation generator devices.
3. Working Principle
The hydrogen electrolyzes employs PEM technology to input pure water with TDS ≤ 1 into the anode chamber of the electrolyze. This water is supplied to the membrane electrode assembly, where on the anode side, it undergoes reactions to produce oxygen, hydrogen ions, and electrons (2H2O → 4H+ + 4e- + O2). Electrons are transferred through an external circuit to the cathode, while hydrogen ions (H+) pass through the proton exchange membrane to reach the cathode. Here, they absorb electrons to form hydrogen gas (4H+ + 4e- → 2H2), which is discharged from the cathode chamber. After entering the gas-water separator, the gas and water are separated to produce pure hydrogen gas.
